'Kamo' is a result of a beautiful artistic exchange between Migrate founder Simon Butler and Waura village shaman Kamo Waura, who has also contributed artworks to our From the Ashes project. While visiting the Xingu community in 2022, Kamo showed Simon drawings he created from visions he sees in his dreams and gifted urucum paint to Simon, and requested he paint his portrait.
